Requires: Microsoft Office Excel 2003-2010 on a Windows 7, VISTA or XP operating system.

To determine your Excel version: In Excel 2007-2010 you will see a round Office button near the top of the page. In Excel 2003, Go to > Help > About Microsoft Office Excel.

          To determine your operating system: Go to > Start > My Computer > View System            Information.

Note: Big E-Z Books will NOT work on Microsoft Works or Open Office.

Compare Single vs. Multiple

The Single Accounts version will track one checking account (business, non-profit or personal) You may choose any one of three expense category sets when you set up your system.

The Multiple Accounts version will track 4 separate checking accounts. You may want to use the Multiple Accounts version with any of the following combinations or make up your own:

4 Business checking accounts

2 Business checking accounts, 1 Payroll checking account, 1 Personal checking account

1 Personal checking account, 3 Non profit checking accounts

1 Business checking account, 1 Payroll checking account, 1 Personal and 1 Non Profit

 

Can I Install This On More Than One Machine?

You can only install the Big E-Z Bookkeeping System on one machine. So to prevent your files from being over written we have set up a safety feature.

Can I use this for multiple years?

No. The data you enter and the files we provide are one and the same.

We adhere to all current IRS tax rules and regulations every year. Also, we improve our software each year with new customer requested features and new programming so your input time is significantly reduced--saving you hours of time.

What Changes Can I Make to the Files

The Big E-Z System has many formulas and hundreds of linked cells. We have locked down the software to protect its integrity and prevent formulas from being changed.

What You Can Do

• Change categories to fit your needsin Period 1 (January)
• Input data in blank/white cells only
• Print reports
• Reconcile the checkbook
• Set budget amounts in the Summary file (for one month with duplication in all twelve)            with adjustments
• Set up recurring transactions to repeat in every month

What You Can NOT Do

• Add or delete rows and columns
• Cut and paste data (into the spreadsheet from another)
• Sort data after entering
